CompTIA Linux+ Description:
The Linux+ certification from CompTIA certification is a standard level certification. This certification was started in 2001, and was last updated in 2003.

A person with the Linux+ has the foundation information and beginner's level understanding for Linux+ certified professionals that can network and system administrators, independent of what industry they work in. This knowledge will include but will not be limited to network and system administrators, independent of what industry they work in.

CompTIA Linux+ Prerequisites:
There are no prerequisites in the Linux+ certification. However, for the Linux+ certification you have to know all the basics of the certification. In addition, to do the Linux+ exams and you are recommended to do the CompTIA Training course. CompTIA Linux+ Exams:
You need to do the CompTIA exam(s) required to earn Linux+ certification. These can be one or two exams:

The certification is now valid for only as long as you live.
